4/26/00. Three 'Pink Wave' petunias planted in each of three deck railing planters, as well as one plant in each of three small planters.
5/3/00. Small planter with one plant.
5/6/00. First 'Pink Wave' bud.
5/8/00. First 'Pink Wave' bloom.
5/10/00. Growing well.
5/14/00. Blooming really well, keeping a compact shape.
5/14/00. Another perspective.
5/17/00. Planted this one in the front bed to add some color.
5/21/00. Getting fuller and fuller.
5/23/00. I planted one 'Pink Wave' on either side of the bird bath. Looks like it provided lunch for a wascally wabbit.
6/7/00. Planted one 'Pink Wave' on the house side of the street bed to add some color there.
6/7/00. Planted two 'Pink Wave' in the front bed.
6/15/00. While not as "carefree" as advertised, the 'Wave' petunias certainly need almost no care compared to older varieties. After rain, this 'Pink Wave' is slightly bedraggled looking, but will perk up somewhat. Does need the occasional branch clipped, but NO deadheading so far!!.

6/20/00. Still going strong.
6/24/00. Somethin' got this one, too.
7/5/00. The replacement I put on the left is gone now.
7/11/00. Still looking good.
7/18/00. Can anyone say "Energizer Bunny?" These things keep going, and going, and going.
7/23/00. The smaller planters are not faring so well. I can only assume that they dry out quicker, and that this dying back is due to insufficient moisture. Too, I think it's safe to assume they're rootbound by now, further adding to their moisture needs.
7/25/00. It's a good thing ONE of the 'Pink Wave' plants survived. Otherwise, it would be pretty empty over here.
