5/14/05. Finally time to get the fish for the backyard pond. We got 3 small fish...

5/14/05. Now I know why we were given this big fish. He's STUPID!!! He keeps swimming into the skimmer. I've emptied him out of the skimmer basket at least 20 times!

5/15/05. So, we put a hardware cloth "curtain" over the opening of the skimmer to keep him out. Kinda defeats the purpose of the skimmer, but hopefully he'll get the message and stop the joy riding.
