Later blooming, beginning in mid-May. Vigorous grower to 2 feet tall, flower stalks taller. Clump forming. Keep surface of soil moist, but not soggy. Full sun.

Louisiana Iris Mix Louisiana hybrids grow 2-3 feet tall and bear 3- to 4-inch flowers ranging in color from white through cream and yellow to bronze, pink, red, blue, purple, and near black; the flowers blossom in mid- to late spring in Zones 8-10 and in early summer farther north. Louisiana irises do best in moist soil, and will even grow in water.
