Fruit & Berries Logo
Growing your own fruit allows you to put the freshest fruit possible on your table. You may save some money, but by the time you count up all the costs, you might just break even. No matter. You will enjoy several things that money can't buy: the unique satisfaction of growing what you want and eating it in it's prime, and engaging in a pleasant form of exercise.
In my USDA Zone 7 garden, I plan to try growing a few fruits and berries (including melons) by using different methods, and documenting progress (or lack of!) as I go, by using descriptions and pictures.
