Recieved 'Ida's Magic' X 'Bella Sera' seeds but they were crushed.

| September 5, 2004 Bought several plants this weekend. At Ken Matthews nursery: daylilies 'Judith', 'Fairy Tale Pink', 'Plum Perfect', and 'Sweet Affection'. Also got another 'Little Spire' Russian sage and a coral bells there, as well. At Anderson's I got three daylilies: 'Woodside Romance', 'Orange Velvet', and 'Red Cadet'. Daylily seeds of 'Joylene Nichole' and 'Just Beyond Tomorrow' arrived.

| September 6, 2004 At Lowe's today I got an aster 'Winston Churchhill' and a coral bells 'Dales' Strain' as well as some early-blooming narcissus for the new back yard beds. Potted up seeds of 'Joylene Nichole' X 'Just Beyond Tomorrow'.

| September 9, 2004 Planted 'Tophat' blueberry in the blueberry bed. Planted a couple of 'Fairy' foxglove and several 'Majorette Mix' hollyhocks. Dug up and replanted iris 'Immortality'. Got daylily 'Siloam Little Girl' from a Dave's Garden member. She sent a clump with 6 fans!! Potted her up until I decide where to plant her. Two daylily seedlings are up: one 'Crayola Violet' X Unknown, and one lavender X unknown.

| September 11, 2004 Two seeds of 'Jerry Nettles' X 'Senegal' have now sprouted. Removed spent green bean vines and put them in the compost bin. Second Manage treatment applied for nutsedge. Potted up 'Crayola Violet' and lavendar daylily seedlings.

| September 14, 2004 Took caladiums out of their pots. Storing them under the garage until they dry, then I'm going to put each variety into a piece of panty hose and store them in the basement. Will try replanting these next year.

| September 26, 2004 We have two baby--well teenagers--fish. One is almost all orange and the other is still solid black. Noticed the pod on 'Indian Giver' was beginning to turn brownish and shriveled looking. I picked it off and started to toss it in the woods but decided to take a look in it anyway. Got 5 decent looking seeds; the rest were mushy.

| September 27, 2004 Recieved the two daylilies I won on the Lily Auction: 'Spacecoast Starburst' and 'Close Encounters'. Recieved a bonus: 'Pasqueflower'. Got them, and 'Siloam Little Girl' (that a member of Dave's Garden daylily forum sent me) all planted in the daylily bed.
