March 1, 2005 Meyer lemon bit the dust.
March 13, 2005 Up until now March has been a cold and wet month. Today it's 70. Daffodils and crocus blooming. Veronica 'Georgia Blue' has a few blooms and forsythia 'Lynwood Gold' has buds. All clematis seem to be coming out just fine. Lots of work need in the beds but more bad weather is predicted for the rest of this week. Hoping to get beds cleaned out soon. Bought several bags of caladiums at Lowe's.
March 15, 2005 One limequat dried up and fell off--one remains. Ordered 2 hosta: 'Geisha' and 'Abba Dabba Do' from a co-op at Dave's Garden. I do love co-ops.
March 16, 2005 Well, for Pete's sake! Snow today and probably tomorrow!. Hopefully, this is winter's last gasp.
March 23, 2005 Thunderstorm tonight. Ordered 6 'Light Pink', 6 'Miss Muffet', 6 'Pink Gem', 6 'Postman Joyner', and 6 'Rose Bud' caladiums through a Dave's Garden co-op.
March 24, 2005 Mowed lawn for the second time this year. It really looks good. Need to get crabgrass pre-emergent and first feeding of the year applied soon.
March 25, 2005 Rained today so nothing got done outside.
March 28, 2005 Raining everyday.
March 31, 2005 Spent the last two evenings getting leaves out of beds. More to do but it's supposed to rain for the next two days.
