The flowers begin showing a broccoli green color during summer. As the summer progresses, the flowers become pinker until they turn a beautiful russet tone by fall. The seedheads can be left on the plants for winter color. They add attractive texture in a snow-covered garden. Click on the thumbnail to see larger picture. 6/4/00. Just purchased 'Autumn Joy' Sedum. I was going to wait until later to buy this, but this one looked so healthy I brought it home. 7/1/00. Blossom buds emerging. 7/13/00. Blossom buds growing. 7/23/00. Growing well in the pot. Don't know where I'm going to put it yet. 8/14/00. Plant is getting pretty big in the pot, with lots of blossom buds showing now. 8/14/00.
