Bed prepared 3/11/00. Bed prepared for peas. I put in boards to serve as walkways to make picking easier.
Planted 3/11/00. Here is where I broadcast the seeds and raked them in.
Supports 3/11/00. Supports for row covers, and eventually the vines themselves, in place.
Bed covered 3/11/00. Bed covered to keep birds from eating the seeds.
Sprouting 3/25/00. Beginning to sprout.
Coming along 4/7/00. Coming along nicely.
Growing 4/20/00. Growing pretty well.
Buds 5/5/00. First buds.
Blooms 5/6/00. First blooms.
Good stand 5/10/00. Good stand of vines.
Pod 5/14/00. Pod is just about full sized here. Now the peas need to fill out.

Good yield 5/18/00. Good potential here--lots of pods.
Hanging full 5/23/00. Vines hanging full of pods.
Summary: Good yield. Would plant these again, but provide taller supports.
