Blue Lake Bush seed 7/3/00. 'Blue Lake' bush bean seed.
Blue Lake Planted 7/3/00. 'Blue Lake' planted. Hope to get enough out of these to make up for the lack of output from the 'Kentucky Blue' plants.
Peeking through 7/7/00. Just beginning to peek through the soil.
Just one day 7/8/00. Amazing the difference a day makes.
Almost all are up 7/11/00. Looks like just about every seed germinated and is growing well.
Growing well 7/23/00. Growing well.
Buds 7/23/00. First buds.
Beans, buds, bugs 8/6/00. Mexican bean beetle looking for dinner?
Babies 8/13/00. First baby 'Blue Lake' bush beans.
Summary: Got enough for one meal from these beans. Mexican bean beetles were not kind.
