Just purchased 5/8/01. Just purchased water hyacinth.
Planted 5/8/01. "Planted" in the pond--floating on top of the water.
Blooming 5/21/01. Blooming already.
Next year 8/24/02. Next year's batch. They're not hardy in this zone, so we have to buy new ones each year. This is after we've thinned them by at least half. I can see why they're considered invasive in a natural setting.
Beautiful 8/24/02. But what a beautiful bloom.
